Produce from university garden to feed students, needy

With some seeds and a shovel, Dana August is working for a greener earth. The Fairfield University senior, along with faculty, staff and student volunteers, recently planted a new garden on the school’s campus. The 18-beds, primarily funded by the school’s Division of Administration and Student Affairs, will provide produce for student dining hall menus in the fall.
