Unlike a certain $65-million musical that has been floundering in previews on Broadway for the past four months, a spectacular, special-effects-driven new stage production of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” has become one of the biggest critical and commercial hits of the current London season. The National Theatre production will be given live HD transmissions from London to Fairfield University’s Quick Center on Thursday, March 17 (encore Friday, March 18), and Wednesday, April 6.
