Economists not optimistic on stimulus

Edward Deak, Ph.D., an economics professor at Fairfield University, said the package needed to be “in the neighborhood of $1.2 trillion” and focused more on ways to generate consumption immediately. “The $787 billion cannot pull the global economy along,” he said.
