Fr. Richard Ryscavage talks about the “Year of the Jesuits!”

Fr. Ryscavage discussed how he and other Jesuits were a bit “shell-shocked” to learn that the new leader of the Roman Catholic Church is a Jesuit priest. He also spoke of the Jesuits’ complicated history with the papacy dating centuries back. In the rather fun episode that focused on March Madness, Fr. Ryscavage also noted that he hears Pope Francis I is a big soccer fan and that it will be hard to decide which Jesuit school to root for during this month’s NCAA Basketball Tournament. (Numerous Jesuit institutions made the cut this year.)
