Discovery Museum sculpture up for auction

Dr. Philip Eliasoph, professor of art history, commented on the upcoming auction of a large sculpture outside Bridgeport’s Discovery Museum. “The fact is, sculpture is bought and sold all the time,” he said. “The important thing here is to use this money from the auction for the museum’s mission – to teach kids about science, and not to use it to pay the light bill.”
