British music hall show onstage in Kensington

Dr. Katherine Schwab, professor of art history, talked with The Washington Post about connecting with ancient architects while drawing the 35 pieces that make up her traveling exhibition An Archaeologist’s Eye: The Parthenon Drawings of Katherine A. Schwab, which is on view at the Washington, D.C.-based Embassy of Greece through August 1, 2014. “It would not surprise me if many artists recognized this subtle sense of connecting with the work of the sculptor(s) [of] long ago,” she remarks. All in all, she says, the process was “very humbling.”
